Sleep apnoea is a respiratory disorder characterized by respiratory disturbances during sleep. What is this: The muscles of the upper respiratory tract are unable to maintain their patience during sleep. They fall due to bad tone. This in turn leads to a temporary expiration of breathing, resulting in 'panting' and partial 'wakeing-up' mantras.
When an apnoiec spell occurs, oxygen levels in the blood fall. And, warning signals from different parts of the body are transported to the brain, which is found on a red warning, and awakens the patient from his sleep. Once stimulated, the muscle tone of the upper airways increases, restores the patience of the breathing path and rests again. But all this bothers and restores the restorative REM sleep, and the patient does not feel refreshed when awake. He/he is suffering from the drowsiness and dullness of the day. Interestingly, most patients with sleep apnoea do not even know about these arousals!! Best Snoring & Sleep Disorder Treatment In Byculla, Mumbai
